Though I know there could have a lot of discussion on the quote I used in the mentioned picture but the thing I would like to clear right here that I am at the stage where I don’t think that I would have a happy future. Being a Muslim I believe that what’s happening to me is in my favor but according to one of the hadiths “if the two days of a Muslim is same then he is in impairment”. After I graduated as an electrical engineer in 2019, roundabout two years, I am still trying to get the job and I am still unsuccessful. What I mean to say is that I am fully disappointed about my future. Though I am trying to learn different skills, the skills which can help in beautify my future yet I haven’t seen the fruit of it.
On 23rd
march each year “Pakistan Day” or “Independence Day” is a public holiday in Pakistan
to remember the “Lahore Resolution”.
After the
British entered into India and establish a company with the name “East India Company”,
the problems of the people in India gradually increased and a freedom struggle
took place.
Sir Syed Ahmed Khan (he was a great leader at that time) worked hard for the political, social and
economic uplifting of Muslims that comprised of 25 to 30 percent of the total
population of British India. In a Muslim League annual session in 1930,
Muhammad Iqbal (who is now
commonly knowns as shaer-e-mashriq), a poet and philosopher, put forward
the ideal of Muslims being a separate nation. This was actually a “Two Nation Theory” which was
after put forward by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.
The two-nation
theory stated that Muslim and Hindus are two different nations. They have
different culture, tradition, ideology, religion and language etc. Now in order
to protect the Muslims’ culture, religion, social and political rights there
must be independent state for them (Pakistan, although the name was not
proposed at that time). The name for the new Muslim state will be Pakistan, it
was introduced by Chaudhary Rehmat Ali on 28th January 1933.
from March 22 to March 24, 1940, in a Muslim League general session, Muhammad
Ali Jinnah and other party leaders rejected the idea of united India, endorsed
the Two-Nation Theory, and called for a separate Muslim state. This resolution known as “The
Lahore Resolution” was
supported by all major Muslim Leaders of the time.
Pakistan gained independence from British rule on August 15, 1947,(although we have been taught that the independence
date is 14th august but it’s actually 15th august which
was later on changed by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, ask your Pak Study
teacher for more detail). Nine years after Pakistan’s creation, the
first constitution was implemented on March 23, 1956.
As we all
know that on 23rd March there is a holiday country wide. Almost all
the government and private offices, educational institutions and business
centre (except for some multinational organizations) are closed. Public
transport is very limited.
